What is Petit Planet?＋
Petit Planet is HoYoverse's first cozy life-sim: you are a Planet Tender who grows a tiny planet in the Starsea, farms, fishes, cooks, decorates a home and befriends animal neighbors. It is free to play on PC, iOS and Android from December 4, 2026, with friends able to visit each other's planets.
Is Petit Planet a gacha game?＋
HoYoverse has not published Petit Planet's full monetization yet. The game is free to play; beta reports describe a seasonal “Starsea Call” system that uses Curio Sea Whistles for curios and outfits, plus a “Curio Emporium” pass with free and premium tiers. Final rates and prices are not public, and the betas had no purchases. More: is it gacha?
Can you play Petit Planet with friends?＋
Yes. Petit Planet lets you visit friends' planets (you control who can enter and what they may take), meet other players in the Galactic Bazaar social hub for music, rhythm and card games, and add “Starry Companions” for campfires and fireworks. Official cross-play and cross-save details have not been published yet.
Is Petit Planet free?＋
Yes. Petit Planet is free to download and play on PC, iOS and Android. HoYoverse says more than 1,000 clothing and furniture items can be earned through check-ins and normal play.
